Keyboard shortcuts
Most tools start with a single key, and the common file and edit commands use Ctrl combinations. The table below lists the default shortcuts.
On macOS, use Cmd wherever this page says Ctrl.
Change shortcuts
Open Window ▸ Preferences and choose Shortcuts. The list shows every command with its menu path and its shortcut.
- Type in Search commands or shortcuts to find a command or a key.
- Select a command, click Assign and press the new key combination. Escape cancels.
- Remove clears a command's shortcut, Reset restores its default, and Reset All restores every default.
- If a key is already used by another command, Terrafold tells you which one.
- Export… saves your shortcuts to a file, and Import… loads them, for example on another computer.
Your shortcuts also appear in the menus and the ribbon tooltips.
